In accordance with the Bylaws of the Georgia Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. and by virtue of the power vested in me as President of the Georgia Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc., I do hereby call the Pre-Conference Executive Committee Meeting, the Pre-Conference Board of Directors Meeting, and the Eighty-eighth Annual State Conference to be held at:

CONFERENCE REPRESENTATION
Representation shall be as provided by the Bylaws, Article XX, Sections 1 and 3.
ARTICLE XX: Representation
SECTION 1. The voting body at all meetings of the Georgia Federation of BPW shall be any individual who has paid a full conference registration fee and is a member in good standing.
SECTION 3. No member shall have more than one vote, and no voting by proxy shall be allowed.

Special Information
Official Call
Please announce the Official Call to the State Conference at each local organization meeting and make special efforts to contact members who are not present at these meetings.
Registration
A registration form is enclosed. Please duplicate as needed for those who are planning to attend. The deadline to register with the State Treasurer is April 10, 2006. You must be a member in good standing, as determined by the BPW/USA membership roster to be eligible to vote at the meeting.
Door Prizes
Each local organization is asked to furnish two door prizes for the Conference. Door prizes should be turned in at the registration desk upon registering for the meeting. Drawings will take place throughout the weekend, and winners will be posted in the hospitality room.
Exhibit Space
Exhibit space will be on Friday from Noon to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you are interested, and/or know someone that is, please fill out the enclosed form and return to the state treasurer with the correct fee. The cut-off date to secure exhibit space is April 10, 2006.
Time and Place Report
The Time and Place Report is enclosed. As a local organization president, please consider hosting a future BPW/GA Board Meeting or State Conference. Please discuss this option with your local organization members. Bids for future meetings should be submitted to Time and Place Chair Kenyatta Stephens by April 15, 2006.

Lodging reservations must be made directly with the Crowne Plaza, 6345 Powers Ferry Road, N.W., Atlanta, GA 30339. For Reservations call
(770) 955-1700. Remember to specify that you are a member of BPW/GA to receive the special rate of $87.00 plus tax per room. Hotel reservations must be made by April 7, 2006 to qualify for this reduced rate. Rooms cannot be guaranteed after this date.

Annual Reports
Article XIX
Annual reports of the State Officers and of the Interim action of the Board of Directors and the work of the standing and special committee chairs shall be presented to the convention body. This may be published in the state publication or conference folio.
Requirements
Written Reports. Reports must be one-page with one inch margins and single spaced. Your name and title should be typed on the right side of the page at the bottom and include any committee members. Reports are to be a synopsis of the second half of your term of office. To be included in the program, reports should be sent by e-mail or postal service by April 10, 2006 to:

Oral reports. A time limit will be observed for all oral reports, two (2) minutes for State Committee Chairs and Officers and three (3) minutes for District Directors.
