President's Notes

Editor's Notes

It's August already--well almost! I'm very excited about our upcoming programs. In our global economy, understanding our multi-cultural world is critical to our survival. I hope you all plan to attend to learn more about this very important topic at this month's meeting. Unfortunately, I will not be there, as I will be on stage for opening night at the St. Ben's Musical Theatre Production of "A Night at the Movies," which runs August 4, 5, and 6. Cindy Overton will preside at the meeting.

I'm also very excited to hear from our NFBPW representatives at the BPW/USA Conference in Philadelphia. Hopefully, I can catch at the September meeting, which will be held at the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell. We switched the date to September 8, so mark your calendars. Have a great meeting! I'll be thinking of you between acts!

Warm regards,

Peg Titus-Hall

Rita Bauer and Skip and Rita Gray attended the National Convention in Philadelphia and had a wonderful time. We are looking forward to hear more about it at the August meeting.
Congratulations to Roslyn Ridgeway as the
new BPW/USA President from Atlanta. See her outstanding accomplishments on the BPW/USA web page under National Leadership – Executive Committee. It was announced that the National Conference will be in Atlanta in 2008. After many years for working toward toward this, it is finally happening!
I welcome any and all information for the “UPDATES”. Please email it to me at earlenearoden@bellsouth.net.
