Happy Holidays to Everyone! See you at Altobelli's on Dec. 1!

President's Notes

What a month we had! Thanks to the efforts of the entire NFBPW, with special kudos to Barb Siebert, our Treasures & Trash Bazaar raised netted a $697 profit! I was so impressed the way the day came together as we enjoyed the fabulous weather.

Now we look forward to our Holiday Party this week at Altobelli's, personally one of my favorite restaurants. I hope you have made your reservations and sent in your checks. I always look forward to this event because it's another opportunity to learn more about my fellow BPW members.

As we near the end of 2005 and begin the second half of our own 2005-2006 year, one of my wishes for NFBPW is to develop procedures for our officer responsibilities and committee processes. This will make our transitions easier for next year and help us to maintain the good efforts that so many of our members have made this year. I'll be calling on each of you to work with me in developing this.

In the meantime, I wish all of you a very Happy Holiday Season!

Warm regards,

Peg Titus-Hall

Editor's Notes

Rita and Skip Gray attended the BPW/GA Fall Board Meeting in Warner Robins November 4 and 5.  See the report from BPW/GA President Sandra Wooden below. North Fulton BPW will be hosting the 2006 Fall Board Meeting.

Hope all of you have already sent Debbie Sundal your reservation and check for the Holiday Party. I hope to see all of you there.  Debbie always does an outstanding job with our special dinners. A GREAT BIG THANKS TO HER.

John and I will be taking our annual trip to Florida for the month of January so I won’t be able to attend the January meeting, but hopefully will be back for February.

I am in the process of getting someone to do the Newsletter in February for me, since I will not return until toward the end of January and my internet use will be very limited.

BPW/GA Fall Board Meeting Report
from Sandra Wooden, BPW/GA President

Take a moment to read the report our illustrious BPW/GA President on the State Fall Board meeting, held on
November 5 and attended by Rita Gray. Sandra highlights details about the weekend's festivities and actions, as well as the BPW/GA Young Careerist, Dr. Christine James.

Treasures & Trash Bazaar

NFBPW profits totaled approximately $697! It was a lot of work, but we had a beautiful day and a great selection of quality vendors. We sold 26 spaces, plus refreshments, including hot dogs, popcorn and baked goods. It was a lot of fun, but we needed more customers! I will give everyone a complete financial statement at the Holiday party. See you then.

Barbara Siebert, Chair
